Losing Weight on Gluten-Free

Sorry it’s been so long, there have been a of changes around recently.  A week ago I did a little research via Dr. Oz. He’s not normally my preferred physician, but in one episode that you can find online, he talks about how to go gluten free the right way. His point is that lots of people (myself included) think that when they go gluten free they will lose weight. However, once they go gluten free, they still want the processed food with lots of extra ingredients, and so they’re not losing weight. They’re not healthier. They’re not feeling better. Eating foods with as few ingredients as possible is the way to go. I’m still learning this, especially as I learn to try to cook and find food for myself.

I encourage you to look it up on Dr. Oz’s site, and hear exactly what he has to say about it. But regardless of whether you’re looking to lose weight or not (I know many Americans are), if you have allergies, eating food with few  ingredients makes pinpointing possible allergens so much easier.
